Honoring veterans for their sacrifices
As we celebrate the birthday of our nation, let us not forget the sacrifices made by our service men and women. Through their sacrifices, we are able to enjoy many freedoms that we often take for granted.
I was reminded of those sacrifices this past Sunday when my father-in-law, Tom Ackland, and eight other WWII veterans were honored and presented with quilts of valor.
Happy 4th of July! Our offices will be closed Monday to observe the holiday.

Judith Ackland has more than 26 years of experience in accountancy and financial planning, including seventeen years as a CFO of a diverse business.
